William Abrams

Bill has over 20 years of banking and finance experience including 15 years focused on the shipping sector. 

Before Triton, Bill was a Managing Director at Four Wood Capital Partners, a credit and lending platform focused on the maritime sector. Previously Bill was a Managing Director at DVB Bank where he established its US investment banking group. Prior to DVB, Bill served as a Senior Vice President at the Air Transportation Stabilization Board, a U.S.-government sponsored loan program established to provide financing for airlines. Before that, Bill was a Director in the investment banking groups at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse where he originated, structured and executed over 50 offerings of high-yield debt and equity securities.   

Bill holds a BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a JD/MBA from the University of Chicago.

Efthymios Efthymiou

Efthymios has 10 years of experience most of them in shipping finance, his primary responsibility in Triton is covering the Greek market.

Before Triton he was a partner Four Wood Capital Partners for 8 years. He worked in Origination and Banking Group launching different fund structures and IPO’s. He co-founded Global Marine Transport Capital in 2014, a maritime debt lender where he assisted in raising over $1bn of institutional capital and also covered 200+ shipping companies primarily in the Greek market. Prior to Four Wood Capital Partners, he worked at as an Analyst at Stratum Capital Advisors, a long/short strategy hedge fund.  

Efthymios holds a B.S. in Engineering with a major in Financial and Management Engineering from the Aegean University, Greece and earned his Master’s in Business Administration from St. John’s University, New York.
